Victor Osimhen transfer saga has continued as he remains shut out of Napoli build-up for the new season. The Super Eagles striker was not listed by Napoli in Sunday’s friendly against Egnatia, which the Serie A club easily won 4-0.
It would be recalled Osimhen withdrew from pre-season training with the Serie A club to avoid injury that could compromise a possible transfer.
There has not been any reported progress in negotiations between PSG and Napoli for the striker with the size of the transfer fee being the bone of contention.
Italian sports newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport has even reported that PSG have pulled the plug on the deal, while French sports newspaper L’Equipe said PSG coach Luis Enrique does not fancy Osimhen’s style and it is Luis Campos who has been pushing for the transfer.
This comes at a time Saudi Arabian clubs Al Ahli and Al Hilal are pushing for a transfer coup.
Osimhen’s release clause of 130 Million Euros will not be a problem for either club and it is only for the 25-year-old striker to have a change of heart and quit Europe.
