Ola Aina has returned to training with Nottingham Forest after his Premier League club claimed he played with injury in the AFCON final against hosts Cote d’Ivoire.
The 27-year-old fullback was back to Forest training Thursday evening.
In a post on the official Forest Facebook account, Ola Aina was seen fiddling with the ball in training.
Aina has made 14 appearances and scored a goal in the Premier League.
He last played for Forest in a 2-1 home win over Manchester United on December 30, 2023.
His club are only four points clear of the relegation zone.
