Crystal Palace and West Ham are the Premier League clubs in the race to sign Super Eagles defender Jordan Torunarigha from Belgian club Gent.
Leeds United in the English Championship as well as Italian club Monza have also been reported to be keen to sign the 26-year-old player, who represented Germany at youth level before he changed international allegiance to Nigeria.
These interests have meant the player was not named in the team’s traveling squad for a UEFA Conference League.
The Gent coach has said that for the time being Torunarigha will not see action because he is not fully concentrated on account of the various transfer interests.
He has a year left on his contract.
