According to Le Parisien, the club’s Sporting Consultant LuÃs Campos has made him a priority and they are willing to go all-out for the 29-year-old forward.
England captain Kane has just one year remaining on his deal with Tottenham. However, it is thought that Tottenham will still demand around €100m for Kane, despite the good relationship between Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Daniel Levy. Whilst PSG won’t be as restricted by financial fair play this summer, they also won’t be getting a discount on the England forward.
It is not clear whether Kane, who has often been linked with a move to Bayern Munich and Manchester United, would be up for a move abroad, or whether he would prefer to remain in the Premier League. Should PSG fail in their pursuit of Kane, then they have a long list of alternative options. Randal Kolo Muani, Victor Osimhen, Marcus Thuram and Romelu Lukaku, currently on loan at Inter Milan from Chelsea are all thought to be on a shortlist of potential attacking recruits.
Should Les Parisiens succeed in recruiting Kane, he could link up with former manager José Mourinho, who has been linked to the managerial role at the Parc des Princes by RMC Sport.
Paris Saint-Germain were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League in the Round of 16 by Bayern Munich, further compounding their misery on failing to win Europe’s most-coveted trophy.
