Nigeria Super Falcons advanced 1-0 on aggregate after both teams played out a goalless draw in Cameroon last week.
Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie was excited to keep another clean sheet and qualify for the playoffs.
“+3 clean sheet, amazing effort from the whole team. We are the Super Falcons. Unto the next round,” she posted on X
US-based defensive midfielder Deborah Abiodun was equally bullish about the performance from the team.
“To God be the glory. We overcame Cameroon,” she posted.
“A solid team performance Super Falcons. On to the next one.”
The team will now await the overall winners of today’s third-round clash between South Africa and Tanzania with the Banyana Banyana South Africa winning the first leg in Tanzania 3-0.
