Rumours about Conte’s potential dismissal have been flying about since the second half of the 2022/23 season. However, Conte’s fate seemed to have been sealed by his infamous rant following a disappointing 3 – 3 draw with Southampton after the London side saw a 3 – 1 lead slip away.
Despite a 71.4% win percentage at Bayern Munich, Julian Nagelsmann was sacked in favour of former Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel, who was confirmed by the Bavarians as new head coach over the weekend.
