Julian Nagelsmann in line for Tottenham job after rejecting Chelsea

Julian Nagelsmann is now being touted for the Tottenham managerial vacancy after withdrawing from the Chelsea job last Friday.

Recently sacked Bayern Munich manager, Julian Nagelsmann, who was the long-standing favourite to become the new name at Stamford Bridge before emerging reports, “he ruled himself out of the job” is now reportedly in line to take up the vacant manager role at Tottenham Hotspur.

Last Friday, Nagelsmann was reported by Fabrizio to have withdrawn from the race to sign with the London club after talks prolonged for a while and appeared to be stalling, with both he and the Blues’ hierarchy having “different views on crucial points”.

However, the latest news coming out from the German manager’s closet is he is now preparing to sit and hold talks with Tottenham Hotspur after sacking interim manager Cristian Stellini on Monday night in the wake of Sunday’s humiliating 6-1 thrashing in the hands of Newcastle United in the Premier League.

With Spurs looking to hire a third permanent manager in two years.

The Independent believes Tottenham’s CEO Daniel Levy would be seeking to hire the German manager before the end of season but would like him to wait until the summer.

While Nagelsmann intends to play an important role in the club’s transfer dealings if he joins the North London club.
