Kano Pillars appointment of coach Paul Offor off

Paul Offor signs Kano Pillars

The much-publicised appointment of Paul Offor as the new coach of NPFL club Kano Pillars is null and void as this was done by an interim management, whose tenure has run out since December 2023.

The former Sporting Lagos coach Offor was presented to the public Friday. Coach Offor was reported to have signed a two-year contract with Sai Masu Gida.

However, an official letter signed by the Kano State sports commissioner Rabiu Kwankwaso and dated July 12, 2024, announced the dissolution of the interim management committee that made this appointment.

The letter made it clear that the interim management was no longer in place and should hand over to the most senior civil servant at the club.

Kwankwaso said a new management committee will soon be appointed for Kano Pillars, who are owned and financed by the Kano State Government.
