Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has hinted at a return to Nigerian football after a hiatus from competitive play. Musa, who hasn’t played at a high level since February, recently took to X (formerly Twitter) with a cryptic post.

In his update, Musa shared a photo featuring the logos of all 20 clubs in the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL). The caption read, “Let’s go again, which team do you wish for me to sign?”

This has fueled speculation that the World Cup-scoring forward might be heading back to Kano Pillars. He began his professional career with the club before moving to Europe.

In his most recent stint, Musa played for Sivasspor in Turkey. He made 53 appearances for the Turkish side, scoring two goals and providing two assists. His contract with Sivasspor was terminated earlier this year.

Musa’s potential return to the NPFL is eagerly anticipated by fans. His presence could bring a significant boost to any team he joins, given his experience and past contributions on the international stage.
