Manuel Lanzini involved in Car crash as his Mercedes hits a tree

Manuel Lanzini of West Ham United was involved in a ‘significant’ crash on the A12 in Essex, in which the Mercedes he was driving flipped on its side. According to reports, the Argentine was en route to Claret’s training ground in Romford, Essex, when his £70,000 Mercedes V-Class crashed on Thursday afternoon while being driven by a chauffeur (March 31).

Surprisingly, Lanzini, 29, was able to walk away from the carnage unharmed before firefighters arrived. The accident occurred on the A12 near the club’s training ground in Romford, according to reports.

The attacking midfielder was assessed for injuries and cleared to continue his journey to the Irons’ Rush Green base. Following the incident, it’s uncertain whether he’ll be available for Sunday’s Premier League match against Everton, according to The Mirror.

Lanzini was greeted by player care staff when he arrived to the training field, according to a West Ham United spokesperson. Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Department said:

“”Police were called at 12.49pm on Thursday, March 31 to reports of a collision on the A12 in Romford. Officers attended and it was reported that a car had left the westbound carriageway before colliding with a tree. No injuries were reported.””
