Fenerbahce have completed the signing of Nigerian forward Flourish Sebastian from Istanbul rivals Galatasaray on a permanent deal.
The 20-year-old versatile striker joined Galatasaray only last summer after leaving French club Stade Reims, but has now made the switch to the Yellow Canaries in search of more playing time and career progression.
A Rising Star of Nigerian Football
Sebastian rose to prominence with the Falconets, featuring at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, where she scored once for Nigeria.
The move to Fenerbahce is expected to give her:
✅ More regular minutes
✅ Experience at a top Turkish Super Lig side
✅ A better chance to earn a call-up to the Super Falcons
What’s Next for Sebastian?
The forward hopes to hit the ground running at her new club and build on her international pedigree.
This transfer could also see her link up with other Nigerian talents currently making waves in Turkey’s women’s football league.
