Having been at the San Siro with the Rossoneri for more than two seasons on loan, AC Milan are now considering the permanent signing of loanee, Brahim Diaz at the end of the ongoing campaign.
Reports by transfer journalist, Fabrizio Romano is that the Italian club have scheduled talks with the Los Blancos chiefs in order to discuss the permanent move for the 23-year-old Spaniard.
Diaz is now on his third season on loan from Real Madrid at Milan having initially joined for the 2020-21 season on a season-long spell and then coming back on a two-year loan deal in the summer of 2021.
Reports suggest that at the time of Diaz’s re-signing in 2021, there was an option to buy as part of his loan but this was always denied by Spanish sources. As such, if the Rossoneri consider him a priority, there would be negotiations for his permanent transfer.
Since joining the Milan club, Diaz has made 98 appearances and contributed to 25 goals.
Should Milan intend to continue employing the services of the midfielder beyond this campaign, reports have indicated that they may submit a bid in the region of €22 million to Real Madrid.
