Eden Hazard having only played 296 minutes for Real Madrid this season has admitted that he does not speak with Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Real Madrid star Eden Hazard has revealed that his relationship with head coach Carlo Ancelotti has completely broken down and that they no longer communicate despite having respect for each other.
The Los Blancos paid an initial £89 million transfer fee to sign Hazard from Chelsea in 2019, with the total deal potentially exceeding £150 million due to various add-ons. The forward signed a five-year deal to become Real Madrid’s highest-paid player on a £470k per week salary.
Hazard, however, has struggled to replicate his stunning Chelsea performances at Madrid, with injuries and a lack of consistency plaguing his time in Spain.
This season, the former Chelsea star has only played 296 minutes in all competitions, contributing a single goal and an assist with his last appearance for the Los Blancos in the Copa Del Rey against Segunda division RFEF side CP Cacereno.
Despite being relegated to the squad’s periphery, Hazard recently stated that he has no intention of leaving the club this summer and intends to complete the final year of his contract, which is worth £470,000 per week.
The former Belgium international, who retired from International football after the 2022 FIFA World Cup also reveals the relationship he has with manager Carlo Ancelotti amid several contrasting reports of a feud between them.
