Inter Milan ease past Salernitana as they continue title charge

It was a comfortable win for Massimiliano Farris’s men as they defeated Salernitana to remain top of the Serie A table.

Inter Milan came into this game from the back of a comfortable win against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico Stadium.

Their win against Roma was backed by a comfortable 4-0 win against Salernitana which pushed them closer to the Scudetto.

Massimiliano Farris, Inter manager made three changes to his side that defeated Roma away from home last time.

Salernitana manager, Filippo Inzaghi made five changes to his side that lost to Empoli last weekend.

Marcus Thuram opened the scoring after showing good composure inside the box to fire a first-time shot inside the right post.

Two minutes later, Carlos Augusto launched a long throw into the box, evading everyone except Lautaro Martinez, who thumps the ball into the net to double Inter’s lead.

Denzel Dumfries made it three in the first half after pouncing on the loose ball from an error made by Guillermo Ochoa and finding the back of the net from inside the box.

Inter Milan came into the second half looking comfortable with a 3-0 lead and controlled the game till injury time when they added the fourth goal.

Denzel Dumfries sprayed a pass out to Marko Arnautovic and he has an easy job to slot the ball into an empty net, with the goal being the last kick of the game.
