The Athletic reports that Swedish international and Tottenham Hotspur star, Dejan Kulusevski is expected to miss the trip to Brighton on Saturday when the two side face-off at the Amex stadium with the forward still dealing with the hamstring he developed after he returned from International duty.
After missing games against Arsenal last weekend and Eintracht Frankfurt in the midweek, the midfielder appears poised to miss another, with the game against Brighton coming too soon for a full recovery on his muscles.
Despite head coach Antonio Conte suggesting that Kulusevski could be fit for the Brighton clash earlier this week, Kulusevski will miss the trip to the south coast, alongside wing-back Emerson Royal, who was shown a straight red card in Spurs’ 3-1 defeat by Arsenal last Saturday.
Royal will also miss matches against Everton and Manchester United as penance for the red card he received.
Lucas Moura will miss the Brighton game, with Conte confirming that the Brazilian “will be out for a long” following Tuesday’s goalless draw with Eintracht Frankfurt.
Eric Dier, meanwhile will be available for selection, hoping to maintain his record of playing every minute of club football this season.
